Hiring Branch Manager - Star Health Insurance

We are hiring Branch manager for Star Health Insurance - Agency channel/Health Vertical .

Location : Gudivada , Piduguralla, Tiruvuru .

Role & responsibilities :

1. The Branch Head will be primarily responsible and accountable for all the Business Operations of the Branch and will ensure that the sales targets assigned to the Branch are successfully achieved.

2. He will be equally responsible for prudent underwriting of policies and for proper and effective administration of the Branch. He shall ensure strict implementation of the underwriting policies of the company and educate his team to avoid risky proposals. He will also arrange for proper training of all the Branch Staff/Sales force, in coordination with Corporate Office/ZO Training Department.

3. He will be responsible for recruiting and building a great marketing team of Sales Managers and Agents and will supervise, manage and guide the sales force to success. He shall take efforts to propagate the Family Culture of our company amongst all employees, agents and intermediaries of Star Health.

4. He shall exercise due care and diligence in all his functions and remain ever vigilant against frauds that may be perpetrated on the company. He shall inform the Top Management of any fraud or any suspicious activity against the company.

5. The Branch Head shall ensure timely accounting of premium received by the Branch in different modes and arrange to duly deposit the same into the companys bank account forthwith. He shall ensure that all the amounts deposited are credited to the companys account by the Bank without delay by having the BRS checked carefully and properly reconciled every month in coordination with Corporate Office/ZO Accounts Department.

6. The Branch Head will be duty bound to ensure prompt customer service to the clients of Star Health (whether from his Branch or not) and responsible for timely resolution of the Branch customer claims/ grievances, by proper liaison, with officials concerned in the higher offices of the company.

7. The Branch Head will ensure strict compliance of companys policies, rules, procedures and directives as also the IRDAI Regulations and Guidelines issued from time to time.

8. The Branch Head shall analyse the profit and loss statement of the Branch sent by Corporate Office regularly and take steps as may be necessary for the Branch to control the loss ratio or maintain the profit ratio of the Branch.

Preferred candidate profile :

> Proven branch management experience, as a Life Or Health Insurance Sector

> Ability to meet sales targets and production goal

> Ability to manage team.

> Age : upto 45

> Graduation Mandatory

Role: Branch Sales Manager (B2C).
