Healthcare integration Developer

Proficient in HL7 FHIR standards, healthcare integration adapters, C#, ASP.NET, REST APIs, and Azure.

Experienced with HL7 v2, CDA, CCD, IHE profiles, HIPAA, HITECH. HL7 FHIR certification preferred, with a proven track record in healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Integration Development & Design:
Develop and implement integration solutions for healthcare systems (e.g., EHR/EMR, HIS, LIS, PACS) using industry-standard protocols such as HL7, FHIR, CCD, or CDA.
Design, develop, and deploy interface solutions that facilitate seamless data exchange between internal and external healthcare systems.
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions for system integrations.

System & Data Integration:
Integrate data from various healthcare applications and platforms, ensuring compatibility and data integrity across systems.
Develop APIs and middleware for facilitating data sharing and workflow automation between healthcare systems.
Ensure efficient data transfer, transformation, and mapping between disparate systems while maintaining security and privacy standards.

Compliance & Security:
Adhere to industry standards and regulations, including HIPAA, for the secure handling and transmission of healthcare data.
Ensure integration solutions are compliant with healthcare regulations and privacy laws and meet the required security protocols.
Perform audits and assessments to ensure all integrations comply with data protection regulations.

Troubleshooting & Support:
Provide technical support for integration solutions, resolving issues related to system connectivity, data discrepancies, or performance bottlenecks.
Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot system errors, data quality issues, and failed processes.
Develop and maintain documentation for integration systems and solutions.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with other IT teams (e.g., database administrators, network engineers, system administrators) to support the integration and optimization of healthcare applications.
Partner with clinical, operational, and business teams to understand system requirements and ensure solutions are tailored to organizational needs.
