StaidLogic - Software Development Engineer - Test - API Testing (6-8 yrs)

Role : Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).

Location : Pune.

Experience : Total 6 years.

Role Description :

- This is a contract hybrid role for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at StaidLogic.

- The SDET will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing solutions, collaborating with development teams to ensure quality software delivery, and analyzing test results.

- This role will be based in Pune with flexibility for remote work.

- 6+ Yrs experience in testing and test automation.

- Good Experience with different testing methodologies, functional and non-functional testing.

- Experience in Agile/DevOps.

- Java based automation, BDD, Scripting.

- Good Hands-on Unix knowledge.

- Good in SQL.

- Domain knowledge and work experience in IB cash equities and/or derivatives mandatory.

- Strong understanding of various testing methodologies (e.g., Agile testing, BDD, TDD, exploratory testing).

- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jest).

- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation and analysis.

- Experience with API testing and RESTful web services.

- Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques.

- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).

- Ability to read and understand code written in various languages

- Experience working with debugging tools and analyzing log files.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus
