Position Overview :

- We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Oracle Developer to join our team.

- This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle database architecture, development, and optimization techniques.

- As a Senior Oracle Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing complex database systems, mentoring junior developers, and leading strategic database initiatives to meet company objectives..

Key Responsibilities :

- Write queries with help of advanced SQLS.

- Design, develop, and implement scalable Oracle-based solutions, including complex PL/SQL code, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

- Lead efforts in data modelling, database schema design, and data warehousing to support enterprise applications.

- Perform advanced performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting of database issues.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align database architecture with business requirements and best practices.

- Lead code reviews, enforce development standards, and ensure high-quality code across the development team.

- Oversee database security measures, backup/recovery processes, and disaster recovery planning.

- Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for seamless data integration and migration.

- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices, advanced PL/SQL techniques, and database optimization strategies.

- Manage database version control, documentation, and change management processes.

- Stay updated on Oracle technology advancements and provide recommendations for upgrades, new tools, and emerging best practices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; masters degree preferred.

- 6+ years of experience as an Oracle Developer or in a similar role, with expertise in PL/SQL development.

- Advanced knowledge of Oracle database architecture, indexing, partitioning, and clustering techniques.

- Hands-on experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and database troubleshooting.

- Experience in data modelling, database design.

- Good to have any ETL tool experience.

- Familiarity with cloud-based Oracle solutions (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and migration from on-premises to cloud.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certification in Oracle PL/SQL Development.

- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.

- Exposure to agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
