Mandatory Skills :
- Progressive experience in handling NOC Operations and Infrastructure related activities.
- Experience with management tools like Solarwinds, SCCM and Commvault.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF) and network components (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows systems.
- Hands-on-experience on L1 and L1.
- 5 tasks on Unix\Windows Administration.
- Knowledge of VMware and basic activities maintenance.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management.
Good to have :
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualized infrastructure.
- Knowledge on O365, Exchange tools, Proof Point is good to have.
Soft Skills :
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :
- Seeking a highly capable NOC technician to work at our network operations center.
- Will be responsible for monitoring the alerts on Infrastructure and be diagnosing/resolving network issues, maintaining our network infrastructure, and collaborating with our IT team to enhance the Infrastructure and Network performance.
- Candidates will play a key role as a First point of contact and serve as per Industry accepted standards with respect to Network Operations center.
- Must be familiar with monitoring tools SolarWinds, New Relic, Network & Subnet concepts, handling basic documented activities on Cisco switches, firewalls, Windows/Linux basic maintenance activities.
- Knowledge on Microsoft Azure Cloud, AWS Cloud, Oracle Cloud, SAN and NAS storage devices and switches will be an added advantage.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Monitor the performance and availability of the Enterprise Network, Servers, applications, and other infrastructure components using monitoring tools (SolarWinds, new relic etc.,).
- Serve as the first point of contact for detecting and addressing incidents that affect service availability.
- Providing timely resolutions or escalating to the appropriate teams.
- Collaborating with the IT team on the development and maintenance of network infrastructure.
- Providing first level technical support, performing troubleshooting, and resolving Infra (Windows Server and Linux) and network related issues.
- Anticipate and mitigate potential network, server, and Infra issues, ensuring uptime and minimal service disruption.
- Running diagnostic tests on communication between computers, routers, switches, and servers.
- Analyze and triage incidents, escalating to Level 2/3 engineers or relevant departments as necessary.
- Maintain communication with internal teams and external vendors during outages or critical incidents to ensure proper coordination and resolution.
- Track and document all incidents, ensuring accurate and detailed records for follow-up actions.
- Ability to lead Major Incident Management calls, emergency response sessions and war rooms.
- Co-ordinating with multiple teams to address and mitigate the impact.
- Analyze and coordinate problem management efforts.
System Health & Performance Reporting :
- Generate and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports on system health, performance metrics, and downtime incidents.
- Provide insight into trends, recurring issues, and potential problem areas for preventive action.
- Propose and implement optimizations based on analysis of network and system performance data.
- Experience In Maintenance Activities.
- Assist in scheduling and conducting routine maintenance tasks on Linux and Windows, including network configuration changes, software updates, and backups based on Standard Operating Procedures (Ex: Provisioning / Deprovisioning VMs, SSL Cert Life-cycle management).
- Basic L1 Activities knowledge on Cisco, F5, Palo Alto network devices.
- VLAN and SDWAN upgrades.
- Work with the engineering teams to improve monitoring systems and automation tools.
- Regular review of the SOP Documentation & Knowledge Sharing within team on activities.
- Document troubleshooting steps, incident resolutions, and best practices for future reference.
- Create and update NOC knowledge base articles and internal procedures.
Good To Have :
- Storage management basic activities and knowledge on Backup tools like Commvault is great to have.
- Knowledge of Databases like Oracle, MSSQL, MYSQL and Postgres will be an added advantage.
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve monitoring efficiency.
- Collaboration And Communication.
- Coordinate with various IT teams (network, server, application) to ensure seamless monitoring and swift issue resolution.
- Participate in team meetings to review incident trends, ongoing projects, and areas of improvement.
