Job Description

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes within the organization. The HR Manager will develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals, support recruitment and talent management, foster a positive work environment, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role requires effective leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with all departments to promote a productive and respectful workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment & Staffing:
    • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
    • Coordinate job postings, interview processes, and onboarding of new employees.
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates for critical roles.
    • Manage relationships with staffing agencies and other external recruitment sources.
  2. Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and resolve conflicts.
    • Promote a positive organizational culture through open communication and proactive conflict management.
    • Conduct investigations and provide resolution for employee complaints or grievances.
    • Advise leadership on employee performance, behavior, and development.
  3. Training & Development:
    • Design and deliver employee training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
    • Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
    • Conduct performance reviews and work with management to provide ongoing feedback.
    • Facilitate leadership development programs.
  4. Compensation & Benefits:
    • Manage the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
    • Conduct salary surveys and ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
    • Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee compensation.
  5. Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure the organization is compliant with labor laws, safety regulations, and HR best practices.
    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  6. HR Strategy & Administration:
    • Collaborate with leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
    • Analyze and report on HR metrics, including turnover, employee satisfaction, and recruitment efforts.
    • Support organizational changes such as restructures or mergers.
    • Manage HR-related systems and technologies, ensuring efficient operations.
  7. Health & Safety:
    • Ensure that workplace safety standards are met.
    • Coordinate safety training and implement policies to reduce workplace injuries.
    • Respond to and address workplace accidents or incidents, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • years of experience in human resources, with at least [X] years in a management or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Experience with HR software and databases (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications, such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR, SPHR.
  • Experience in conflict resolution and employee mediation.
  • Familiarity with performance management systems and best practices.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a typical office environment.
  • Occasional travel for recruitment or training purposes may be required.
