Residential School Counsellor

Provide individual and group counseling to students, helping them with personal, social, emotional, and academic issues.

• Offer crisis intervention and support in cases of personal or emotional emergencies.
• Conduct regular assessments to identify students in need of additional support and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
• Support students in managing stress, building resilience, and coping with the challenges of living in a residential school environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop personalized support plans for students.
• Facilitate workshops or group sessions on topics like mental health awareness, conflict resolution, study skills, and emotional well-being.
• Maintain confidentiality and trust while ensuring the emotional safety and privacy of students.
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and emotionally healthy school environment that encourages open communication and mutual respect.
