SAP Developer - ABAP/UI5 Modules (5-8 yrs)

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with UI5 expertise to join our dynamic team of our German Client. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and UI5/Fiori applications. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions to meet business requirements while enhancing user experience through modern UI5 interfaces.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP ABAP Development :

- Design, develop, test, and implement ABAP programs, reports, enhancements, forms, and interfaces.

- Create and maintain custom SAP modules and objects using ABAP Workbench, BAPIs, BADIs, ALV Reports, RFCs, and User Exits.

- Optimize existing ABAP code for performance improvements and troubleshooting.

UI5/Fiori Development :

- Develop and maintain SAP UI5/Fiori applications with a focus on user-friendly interfaces.

- Build responsive web applications using SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.

- Work with OData services and SAP Gateway to integrate backend SAP data with front-end applications.

System Integration :

- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

- Implement system integrations using SAP interfaces like IDOCs, SOAP/REST APIs, and OData services.

Technical Documentation :

- Prepare technical specifications, unit test cases, and user guides.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards and SAP best practices.

Team Collaboration :

- Provide technical support for ongoing projects and system enhancements.

- Mentor junior developers and share best practices within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Experience : Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development and 2+ years in SAP UI5/Fiori.

Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in SAP ABAP (Reports, Smart Forms, Module Pool Programming, RFC, BAPI, BADI, Enhancements).

- Proficient in developing SAP UI5/Fiori apps and customizing standard Fiori applications.

- Hands-on experience with OData services and SAP Gateway configuration.

- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SAP Fiori Design Guidelines.

- Understanding of industry SAP modules like PP, MM and EWM (optional but preferred).

- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori Launchpad configuration is a plus.
