SAP ABAP Developer - HANA Module (6-12 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a Senior ABAP Developer with extensive SAP development experience for our German client to join their team. This role requires an expert in SAP ABAP with a strong background in SAP ECC/S4 HANA systems and integration management.

You will work closely with SAP functional/business analysts to interpret technical designs, assess requirements, and provide technical expertise to deliver clean, effective solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative SAP projects, supporting both ongoing projects and new implementations.

Location : Kochi (Ready to relocate to Pune or Chennai)

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with functional teams, as well as other technical teams.

- Partner with SAP functional and business analysts to formalize requirements and offer technical guidance for new and existing solutions.

- Design, develop, test, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, including RFCs, BAPIs, Function Modules, Classes, and other custom solutions.

- Create and develop SAP OData Models/Services using SAP Gateway Service Builder to facilitate API integrations.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues efficiently.

- Prepare detailed technical specifications for SAP solutions.

- Execute full testing lifecycle, including Unit Testing, UAT, and Regression Testing, ensuring high-quality solutions.

- Stay current with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance development processes.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Extensive experience in SAP development, with a focus on SAP ECC/S4 HANA systems and full SAP implementation project life cycle.

- Strong ABAP and ABAP on HANA development skills, including Data Dictionary, Enhancements (BADIs, Exits), Function Modules (BAPIs, RFC), EDI, IDOCs, OO Programming, REST APIs, SAP Gateway, OData, CDS, and CDS Annotations.

- Solid experience in SAP Gateway services and OData development.

- Excellent technical and troubleshooting skills.

- Proven experience managing SAP system integrations.

- Ability to work both independently and within a team, in both support and project roles.

- Open to learning new technologies on the job and adapting to evolving technologies.
