Senior Developer - Salesforce

The Salesforce Senior Developer is a crucial member of ourSalesforce team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintainingSalesforce solutions to meet business requirements.

This role involvescapturing technical requirements, designing solutions, and deliveringtechnologies that enhance our Salesforce practice.

The Senior Developer willwork closely with the Technical Architect and Project Manager to implementscalable and robust Salesforce solutions that align with best practices andindustry standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience inSalesforce platform development, capable of working independently and thrivingin an entrepreneurial atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

Develop and customize Salesforce solutions, including Apexclasses, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components, andintegrations.

Collaborate with Business Analysts and various stakeholdersto gather and analyze technical requirements and translate them into technicaldesigns and solutions.

Work closely with the Technical Architect to implementscalable and robust Salesforce solutions that align with best practices andindustry standards.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to codingstandards and best practices.

Perform unit testing, integration testing, and deployment ofSalesforce solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related toSalesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations.

Stay updated on Salesforce platform updates, features, andbest practices, recommending solutions that enhance our Salesforce practice.

Document solutions clearly and articulately, includingartifacts like code samples and screen captures.

Identify project issues/risks and present alternatives forresolution.

Requirements

Required Qualifications andSkills:

Minimum 5 years of experience in Salesforce platformdevelopment.

Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified PlatformDeveloper I , Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II , or otherrelevant certifications.

Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components,and Salesforce APIs.

Experience with Salesforce configuration, customization, andadministration.

Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, securitymodel, and sharing settings.

Experience with Salesforce integration technologies such asREST, SOAP, and Bulk API.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with theability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with theability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams andstakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools related toSalesforce deployment.

Familiarity with other programming languages and platforms.

Additional Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator or Salesforce Certified Sales/Service CloudConsultant are a plus.

Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.

Proficiency in using development tools like Visual StudioCode and Salesforce CLI.
