Senior Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team, specializing in the design, development, and construction of industrial, commercial, and residential buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience working across various building types, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all safety, regulatory, and quality standards. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, project managers, and other engineering professionals to bring each project to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Planning:
• Prepare detailed engineering designs, blueprints, and specifications for industrial, commercial, and residential buildings.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and surveys to determine project scope and requirements.
• Perform structural analysis and design, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

• Project Management:
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and contractors to develop project timelines, budgets, and milestones.
• Monitor construction progress, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the specified quality.
• Ensure that work performed meets regulatory compliance, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.

• Construction Oversight:
• Supervise construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to designs, project specifications, and best practices.
• Resolve any engineering issues or discrepancies that arise during construction, recommending design changes as necessary.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, safety, and construction progress.

• Collaboration & Communication:
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to provide updates, address concerns, and maintain positive relationships.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordination and integration across all project phases.
• Review and approve contractor submittals, change orders, and other project-related documentation.

• Documentation & Reporting:
• Prepare and maintain detailed project reports, engineering documentation, and project records.
• Track project costs and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality and safety.
• Ensure that all construction processes follow environmental sustainability guidelines and minimize the environmental impact.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 12 - 16 years of experience in civil engineering, specifically in the construction of industrial, commercial, or residential buildings.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
• Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, STAAD Pro, etc.).
• Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and local authorities requirements.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and green building certifications (e.g., LEED) is a plus.
