About the Role

The Senior Associate, Digital Workplace Technologies will manage, improve, and monitor Material s messaging and email technologies, includes but not limited to Microsoft Exchange, ProofPoint, Microsoft Defender Office. Reporting to the Director of Digital Workplace Technologies, the Senior Associate, DWT will collaborate with IT and business teams to understand needs, define solutions, implement fixes, and drive innovation within Microsoft Exchange.

As a subject matter expert, they will ensure secure, scalable, and reliable Digital Workplace solutions, delivering fast and dependable outcomes for end-users. They thrive on simplicity, efficiency, and exposure to various Digital Workplace technologies.

Key Objectives

Implementation: Develop, enhance, and maintain Messaging solutions for Material, facilitating a modern Digital Workplace with outstanding architecture and user experience.

Exchange Optimization: Drive the optimization and refinement of Microsoft Exchange services, ensuring efficient email communication and seamless integration with other Microsoft 365 features.

Security: Implement robust security measures for all Messaging features, including authentication, access control, data protection, alerts, and investigations.

Operations: Lead efforts in automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting for Materials Messaging collaboration solutions. Exercise sound judgment to ensure delivery, minimize manual hand-offs and single points of failure, and effectively utilize operations partners where appropriate.

Support: Ensure Digital Workplace solutions are delivered and transitioned to the Helpdesk team for continuous support. Provide guidance, mentorship, documentation, and training, serving as an escalation point for the Help Desk team regarding messaging-related queries.

Key Responsibilities

Organizing Knowledge: Standardize & streamline work within Microsoft 365 s messaging technologies (Microsoft Exchange, ProofPoint, Microsoft Defender Office) to enhance content creation and emerging capabilities (e.g. Generative AI).

Innovation and Development: Constantly seek out new messaging solutions and improvements to optimize performance, drive productivity, and support business growth.

Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of messaging solutions with other digital workplace technologies, facilitating better communication and collaboration within the organization.

Training and Support: Develop training programs and resources for end-users to maximize the benefits of messaging technologies. Provide continuous support and mentorship to the Helpdesk team to resolve messaging-related issues efficiently.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to monitor the performance of messaging systems, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to enhance messaging services and address potential issues proactively.

Skills and Competencies

A bachelors or masters degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or equivalent work experience

5-7 years experience administering and maintaining Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365

Experience in administering and maintaining Proofpoint

Proficiency in automation and scripting (PowerShell)

Proven record of technical leadership on Modern Workplace projects with complex business requirements

Strong analytical skills that translate business requirements into actionable items

Experience with Proofpoint, Microsoft Defender Office, and other email security solutions

Experience working with EntraID (AzureAD) and Active Directory

Proficiency in email consolidation, migration, and integration
