Job Summary:
The Business Head position at SriFin Credit Pvt Ltd is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, tasked with guiding the team to meet strategic business objectives, with a strong focus on portfolio expansion, quality, revenue generation, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Collaboration:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement the company's strategic and operational plans, expanding the company's presence in regions such as Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Jharkhand by entering new markets with both existing and new product offerings targeted at defined customer segments.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Manage and enhance customer lifetime value by building strong relationships, improving customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling products.
Financial Operations Oversight:
- Ensure smooth execution of daily financial activities, including payments, invoicing, and cash flow management.
- Monitor expenses to ensure adherence to budgets while collaborating with the operational team to align financial plans with business strategies.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Partner with department heads to develop the annual budget and create financial forecasts using current data and market conditions to provide insights into future performance.
- Ensure that performance aligns with budgetary expectations.
Financial Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders, including regulatory authorities and investors.
Cash Flow and Capital Management:
- Manage the company's liquidity to ensure sufficient cash flow for operational needs, overseeing the capital structure, including debt and equity financing, and optimizing the investment portfolio for efficient fund utilization.
Portfolio Management:
- Collaborate with the risk team to identify potential areas of financial stress, implementing preventive and corrective measures to safeguard company assets.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with all financial, tax, and regulatory obligations, and overseeing the audit process.
Team Leadership:
- Lead the finance team, providing support and guidance to enhance their effectiveness, and offer training and mentorship to improve team performance.
Cost Control and Savings:
- Monitor expenses, identify opportunities for cost savings, and promptly inform management about cost-related issues.
Investor Relations:
- Serve as the primary contact for investors, maintaining transparency through regular updates, reports, and presentations.
- Organize and lead investor meetings to communicate financial performance, risks, and strategies while addressing investor inquiries.
Requirements:
- 12-15 years of overall experience, with at least 8+ years of managing sales operations in the financial services industry.
- In-depth understanding of on-the-ground realities in the microfinance industry.
- Strong collaboration skills with field teams.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and semi-structured environment.
- Strategic thinking with a willingness to challenge conventional approaches
