Job Description

Shall drive the company's strategic enterprise risk management objectives while ensuring that client interface, project acquisition and risks are identified, assessed and mitigated effectively. Shall be responsible for new project acquisition, managing existing projects, business growth, corporate relationship/ partnership building and management of potential risk. Shall be responsible for identifying corporate clients and preparing proposals & presentations for collaboration, meeting clients and closing deals.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Business Development Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to promote Sri Sri University's specialized courses and consulting services.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and industry trends.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, partnership agreements, and other relevant documentation.

  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and potential partners.
    • Analyze competitors and the overall market environment to position the company strategically.

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

    • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and expand business with existing clients.
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to meet revenue targets and customer acquisition goals.
    • Strategic Partnerships:
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) to curate specialised risk management courses.
  • Develop and manage partnerships with other universities in Eastern India to offer collaborative courses.
  • Explore and secure consulting opportunities with corporate clients on enterprise risk management.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements with potential partners.
    • Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop and implement effective business development strategies, including pricing models and processes.
    • Drive the execution of business development plans to achieve set revenue goals.

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns for the specialised courses and consulting services.
  • Represent Sri Sri University at industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote its offerings.

Project Management:

  • Oversee developing and delivering specialised courses in collaboration with IRM and other academic institutions.
  • Manage consulting projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope and budget.
  • Monitor project performance and implement improvements as needed.

Risk Management Responsibilities:


Risk Identification and Assessment:

    • Identify potential risks related to new project acquisition, including financial, operational, and strategic risks.
    • Assess the likelihood and potential impact of risks to the business.

      Risk Mitigation:
    • Develop risk mitigation strategies and action plans to reduce or eliminate risks.
    • Implement risk management policies and procedures to ensure organizational compliance.

      Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Prepare reports on risk exposures and the effectiveness of mitigation strategies for the reporting head.

      Compliance and Regulations:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, laws, and internal policies.
    • Advise the reporting head on risk-related regulatory changes and industry standards.

      Crisis Management:
    • Develop and implement crisis management protocols for handling unforeseen risks or emergencies in the new project as well as in existing projects.
    • Act as a key point of contact during a crisis or significant risk event.

      Collaboration with Other Departments:
    • Work closely with other teams (finance, operations, legal) to ensure a holistic risk management approach.
    • Provide guidance and training on risk-related matters to staff.

Learning & Development:

14. Attend all training programs as scheduled by reporting to the head

Documentation, Reports:

15. Shall submit daily, weekly and monthly report as required and designed by the reporting head
