Salesforce Developer - Apex/Visual Force (5-8 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with expertise in migrating Salesforce Classic to Lightning Experience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, hands-on experience with Apex programming, Lightning Web Components (LWC), API integrations, and a proven track record of successfully completing migration projects.

Role : Salesforce Developer (Classic to Lightning Migration Specialist)

Location : Remote (Bangalore-based Company)

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and execute the migration of Salesforce Classic to Lightning Experience, ensuring seamless functionality and an improved user experience.

- Develop and customize Lightning Web Components (LWC) to enhance business processes and user interfaces.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business owners and CRM teams, to gather requirements and implement solutions.

- Write clean, efficient, and scalable Apex code, including triggers, classes, and batch processes.

- Perform thorough API testing, SOAP testing, and interface creation for integrations.

- Manage and configure security settings, including profiles, roles, and field-level security, to align with business requirements.

- Work within an Agile/SCRUM framework to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

- Mentor junior team members and support peers in overcoming technical challenges.

- Stay updated with Salesforce releases and implement best practices in solutions.

Key Skills and Qualifications :

Technical Expertise :

- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Classic and Lightning architecture.

- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

- Solid understanding of Salesforce collections (Set, List) and null handling.

- Experience with platform events, decorators, and LWC lifecycle hooks.

Integration Skills :

- Hands-on experience with API integrations, batch processing, and managing batch limits.

- Familiarity with SOAP testing and interface creation.

Problem-Solving & Collaboration :

- Proven ability to resolve technical issues and support team members effectively.

- Strong collaboration skills with business owners and cross-functional teams.

Methodology :

- Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments.

- Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks effectively.

Achievements and Learning :

- Demonstrated success in technical projects, particularly Salesforce migrations.

- Commitment to staying updated with Salesforce advancements and releases.

Preferred Experience :

- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Classic to Lightning migration projects.

- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, or equivalent.

- Experience mentoring and onboarding new team members.
