Business Development Manager

Role Summary:

9 to 18 LPA

In-office role, based in Express Chambers, Royapettah, Chennai. Will include occasional travel.

Lead business development and corporate relations for a new gen institute for entrepreneurship

About IVB:

IVB - Institute of Venture Building, is an institute for entrepreneurship, based in Chennai.

Our flagship program is a 3 year offline undergraduate program on entrepreneurship, where students learn from industry experts (Year 1), gain experience through internships and consulting businesses (Year 2), and build a business with co-founders, funding, and mentorship (Year 3).

Through this, students get a low risk chance at entrepreneurship, and gain immense skills, exposure, and network.

Responsibilities:

Corporate Partnerships: Cultivate relationship with companies and networks to engage with our students for projects, competitions, internships, investments, jobs, and mentorship, to enhance student outcomes

Events: Represent IVB in events and conduct our own events related to education, careers, and entrepreneurship

Student Alignment: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure opportunities and students are aligned

Desired Profile:

The ideal candidate would be someone with experience in business development / HR, enjoys talking to people, and has a passion towards education and entrepreneurship
