Database Administrator - MySQL & Linux (5-7 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and administer MySQL databases (version 5+) on a Linux platform.

- Design and implement database schemas to ensure data integrity and efficiency.

- Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including backups, recovery, and performance optimization.

- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues efficiently and proactively.

- Implement and manage database replication processes for high availability and disaster recovery.

- Collaborate with developers to understand data requirements and optimize database queries.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date database documentation.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in database administration.

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of experience in database administration, preferably with MySQL.

- Strong understanding of database design principles, normalization techniques, and SQL queries.

- Experience in managing database security, access control, and user permissions.

- Experience with database performance optimization techniques.

- Experience with database replication and high availability solutions (bonus point).

- Proficiency in Linux administration (bonus point).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
