Cypress Web Automation Test Lead (8-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of web automation testers.

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Cypress test framework from scratch.

- Automate component-level, end-to-end, and regression test suites using Cypress.io.

- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable Cypress test code.

- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design test strategies.

- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions.

- Prepare and present test reports and status updates.

- Integrate Cypress tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Cypress and web automation testing practices.

Required Skills :

- 8+ years of experience in web automation testing.

- 1-2+ years of hands-on experience with Cypress.io for web automation.

- Strong understanding of web development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g, Selenium) is a plus.

- Experience with Groovy scripting language (bonus point).

- Experience with retail e-commerce testing and pricing knowledge (bonus point).

- Familiarity with AWS/cloud testing (bonus point).

- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrations.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
