We are seeking experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Data Architect to join our team. As part of the team, you will be involved in the implementation of the ongoing and new initiatives for our company and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality data-driven solutions to our clients.

Primary Skills: Snowflake, AWS/Azure data services, Data enrichment & ingestion, ELT/ETL, Azure durable functions, Python

Secondary Skills: Analytics platform/tools, API services management

End to end data engineering lifecycle experience is mandatory.

Role Description: The Snowflake Data Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing robust, scalable, and high[1]performance data solutions on the Snowflake cloud data platform.

The candidate should have extensive experience with data warehousing concepts, data modeling, ETL processes, and Snowflake-specific functionalities. The candidate should have significant expertise in Python based Data Engineering solutions.

This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including data engineers, analysts, and business users, to ensure data solutions meet the organization's needs and drive business value.

Role Responsibility:

• Design end-to-end data architecture solutions using Snowflake.
• Create scalable, secure, and resilient data models and data pipelines.
• Develop strategies for data acquisition, storage, processing, and integration within Snowflake.
• Design and implement data models (star, snowflake schemas) for optimal performance.
• Implement best practices for data warehousing, including data partitioning, clustering, and indexing.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across all datasets.
• Design and develop ETL/ELT workflows and processes for data ingestion into Snowflake. • Optimize ETL/ELT processes for performance and scalability.
• Design and develop workflows using Azure durable functions.
• Collaborate with data engineers to automate and orchestrate data pipelines.
• Monitor and tune Snowflake performance to ensure efficient query execution and resource utilization.
• Implement techniques for query optimization, caching, and workload management. • Perform regular audits and troubleshooting to maintain system performance.
• Implement and manage data security measures, including access controls, encryption, and data masking.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and enforce data governance best practices within the Snowflake environment.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data architects and engineers.
• Document architectural designs, data flows, and processes for knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Stay updated with the latest Snowflake features, releases, and industry trends.
• Identify opportunities for improving data architecture, processes, and technology stack.
• Lead and participate in initiatives to enhance data platform capabilities and performance.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience of at least 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data warehousing, and data engineering
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database concepts, with hands-on experience in Snowflake data warehouse Subject Matter expert of Data warehouse and Data Lake concepts (Dimensional Modelling, change data capture, slowly changing dimensions etc.)
• Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their data services Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python for data manipulation, automation, and scripting. Expertise in Azure durable functions • • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledgeable in performance tuning and optimization
• Experience with data integration tools like FiveTran
• Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and how they integrate with Snowflake
• Knowledge of API development principles and experience integrating data pipelines with external systems
• Proficient in written, verbal and presentation communication (English)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Snowflake certification (SnowPro Core, SnowPro Advanced: Architect).nd performance.

EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS
