Chartered Accountant (8-10 yrs)

Position: Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts.

Location: Navi Mumbai.

Reports to: CFO and Directors.

Experience Level: 8-10 years in finance & accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

Industry Preference: Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

- Develop and track financial KPIs, providing regular reports to the executive team.

Accounting and Financial Reporting:

- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.

- Ensure timely preparation and accuracy of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders.

Treasury and Cash Flow Management:

- Monitor cash flow, banking relationships.

- Develop cash management strategies to optimize liquidity and reduce costs.

- Ensure compliance with loan agreements and manage debt obligations if any.

Ensuring appropriate management of forex accounting and compliance.

Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with all financial, tax, and regulatory requirements.

- Work with auditors and regulatory authorities for audits, assessments, and reporting.

- Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance and Accounts team to build capabilities and enhance productivity.

- Drive continuous improvement in accounting practices, processes, and systems.

- Foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring effective communication across departments in the company.

Strategic Projects and System Improvements:

- Lead special projects and financial initiatives to support business growth, M&A activities, or new market expansion.

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in finance and accounting.

Qualifications:

Education: Qualified CA.

Experience: 8-10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial planning, and analysis.

- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
