Detail-Oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper with Xero Experience

Global Corporation is seeking a highly skilled bookkeeper with experience using Xero accounting software to manage the financial records for our Australian subsidiary. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of full-charge bookkeeping experience and proven expertise in the following areas:

Responsibilities:

• Billing: Process sales orders by verifying customer status and creditworthiness, confirming shipment details, and invoicing customers in Xero.
• Cash Receipts: Match incoming ACH payments to corresponding invoices in Xero and investigate any payment discrepancies.
• Accounts Receivable: Maintain and review monthly recurring billing for accuracy, update customer direct debit accounts, and process monthly direct debits.
• Collections: Send monthly reminders to past-due accounts.
• Inventory Control: Track inventory to ensure all purchase orders are recorded in Xero and generate periodic reports to identify product requirements.
• Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices by matching them to internal purchase orders and recording payables in Xero.
• Payroll: Collaborate with management to process biweekly payroll timesheets and monthly commissions. Review payroll data for accuracy and submit for approval.

Qualifications:

• At least five years of full-charge bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and report directly to the CFO.

Compensation:
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
