Job Summary:
Spectrum Electrical Industries Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Industrial Engineer to optimize production processes, enhance efficiency, and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting time studies, implementing Lean Manufacturing principles, and ensuring balanced workflows to maximize productivity while minimizing costs and waste.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes using Lean Manufacturing techniques to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
• Conduct cycle time studies to identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions for process improvement.
• Perform line balancing to ensure optimal resource utilization across production lines.
• Design and implement balanced workflows to achieve consistent output and meet production goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop production layouts and schedules.
• Optimize the use of labor, materials, and machinery to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare detailed reports on cycle times, resource utilization, and efficiency metrics.
• Lead initiatives to introduce new technologies or methods to streamline operations.
• Oversee the implementation of process changes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Work closely with the Quality Control team to maintain high standards in product quality.
• Identify and resolve quality issues in production processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Promote a safe working environment by adhering to workplace safety regulations and conducting safety training.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:
2 - 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a focus on manufacturing processes.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Kanban).
• Proficiency in conducting cycle time studies and line balancing techniques.
• Skilled in process design tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results within deadlines.
