Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to optimize and automate manufacturing processes, enhance productivity, and maintain high standards of product quality. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and troubleshoot automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Automation Design and Implementation:
• Design, develop, and install automation systems to improve manufacturing processes.
• Program, test, and deploy PLCs, HMIs, and robotics systems.
• Optimize existing automation frameworks to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

2. System Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

• Conduct regular maintenance of automated systems to ensure uninterrupted operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in PLCs, sensors, actuators, and other automation equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.

3.Process Optimization:

• Analyse manufacturing workflows and identify opportunities for automation.
• Collaborate with production teams to integrate automation solutions seamlessly into operations.
• Utilize data-driven approaches to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

4.Documentation and Compliance:

• Prepare detailed documentation for automation systems, including manuals and troubleshooting guides.
• Ensure all systems comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Train staff on the safe use and maintenance of automation equipment.

5.Innovation and Upgradation:

• Stay updated with the latest automation technologies and trends.
• Recommend and implement upgrades to improve manufacturing capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in automation engineering, preferably in an electrical manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.) and SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of robotic systems and motion control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with safety standards and compliance requirements.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Industry 4.0 practices and IoT integration.
• Hands-on experience with CAD software for designing automation layouts.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong communication skills for cross-department collaboration.
