Corporate Travel Consultant

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Corporate Travel Consultant to join our team. The candidate will manage hotel bookings for corporate clients, ensuring seamless and professional service while adhering to company policies and client-specific travel guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Hotel Bookings & Reservations
• Handle end-to-end hotel bookings for corporate clients, including single and group reservations.
• Ensure bookings comply with the clients travel policies and budget constraints.
• Coordinate cancellations, modifications, and special requests.
• Client Management
• Understand client requirements, organizational hierarchies, and preferences.
• Provide personalized travel solutions and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
• Vendor & Rate Management
• Liaise with hotels to negotiate rates, secure availability, and manage preferred vendor relationships.
• Monitor rates and ensure compliance with agreed corporate tariffs.
• Operational Efficiency
• Monitor and respond to booking requests via email and ticketing systems.
• Ensure timely service delivery and adherence to TAT (Turnaround Time).
• Collaborate with internal teams (sourcing, accounts, commercials) to ensure smooth operations.
• Feedback & Reporting
• Collect and analyze feedback from clients and guests to improve services.
• Maintain detailed reports on bookings, cancellations, and performance metrics.
• Training & Process Documentation
• Assist in creating training materials and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for new team members.

Job Specification

Education:

• Graduate in any discipline. A diploma or certification in travel and tourism is an advantage.

Experience (Preferably):

• Minimum of 2 years experience in corporate travel management, with a focus on hotel bookings.
• Hands-on experience with hotel reservation systems and corporate travel software is essential.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and travel booking platforms.
• Capable of multitasking and handling high-pressure situations with professionalism.
• Detail-oriented and customer-focused approach.
