Overview:
At Space Palette, the Billing Executive plays a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate invoicing, and maintaining seamless billing operations specific to interior design projects. This role involves handling client invoices, tracking payments, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, financial acumen, and excellent organizational skills to support the firms financial health and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue accurate invoices based on project milestones, material procurement, and labor costs.
• Maintain records of payments, outstanding balances, and follow up on overdue invoices to ensure timely collections.
• Reconcile billing discrepancies and coordinate with project managers, procurement teams, and finance for resolution.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, GST filings, and other financial requirements specific to the interior design industry.
• Collaborate with project teams to verify billable project components, including materials, subcontractor charges, and design fees.
• Generate financial reports related to billing, revenue, and accounts receivable tailored for interior projects.
• Maintain organized records of all financial transactions, vendor invoices, and documentation for audit purposes.
• Assist in optimizing billing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in interior project costing.
• Address client queries related to invoices, payment schedules, and cost breakdowns professionally and promptly.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in billing, accounts, or finance-related roles, preferably in the interior design or construction industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, with experience handling project-based invoicing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in cost analysis and budget tracking for interior projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Knowledge of tax regulations, GST compliance, and financial documentation processes related to interior design.
