Microsoft PowerBI Developer

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Power BI Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Power BI architecture , database architecture , and advanced cloud services like Azure Synapse , Azure Data Factory . The role involves leading data visualization projects, designing scalable BI solutions, and managing ETL processes to transform complex datasets into actionable insights. Power BI & Synapse Activities:

• Power BI Architecture: Lead the design, development, and deployment of comprehensive Power BI solutions, ensuring data is visualized effectively for business decision-making.
• Database Architecture: Architect and implement robust data models and databases that support Power BI reporting, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Cloud Integration: Utilize cloud services such as Azure Synapse Analytics , Azure Databricks , and Azure Data Factory to manage, process, and analyse large datasets.
• ETL Process Management: Design, develop, and manage ETL pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources into data warehouses or Power BI datasets.
• Data Visualization & Reporting: Lead the creation of interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Power BI that provide key insights to business users.
• Data Governance & Security: Ensure proper governance practices are in place for data access, usage, and security across all Power BI and cloud platforms.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of Power BI reports, data models, and queries to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Power BI developers, data engineers, and architects, providing technical guidance and support throughout project lifecycles.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, understanding their requirements, and translating them into technical solutions that meet business needs.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest advancements in Power BI, cloud technologies, and data engineering practices to ensure innovative and cutting-edge solutions.

Pre-sales Activities:

• Actively participate in pre-sales meetings and calls with potential clients.
• Understand client requirements and translate them into effective Power BI and Azure Synapse solutions.
• Deliver compelling product demos that showcase the combined power of Power BI and Azure Synapse, highlighting their potential value to clients.
• Respond to technical questions and provide insightful solutions to client challenges.
• Collaborate with sales teams to create proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • 6+ years of experience in Power BI architecture and data visualization solutions.
  • Proven expertise in database architecture , including data modelling and designing scalable data systems.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Power BI , Azure Synapse Analytics , Azure Data Factory .
  • Strong background in ETL development , data integration, and cloud-based data services.
  • Advanced proficiency in DAX and Power Query.
• Cloud Services Knowledge:
  • Experience in managing and optimizing data solutions in Azure
  • Understanding of cloud computing , data governance, and security best practices.
• Leadership & Communication:
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience leading technical teams and delivering complex data projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into business-friendly language.
