Sopra Steria - SAP Functional Consultant - MM Module (15-19 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior SAP MM Consultant to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in leading and delivering successful SAP MM implementations for our clients.

You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, design and configure optimal SAP solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities :

Project Leadership :

- Lead and manage all phases of SAP MM implementation projects, from requirements gathering and design to testing, go-live support, and post-implementation support.

- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.

- Business Process Expertise : Analyze and document existing business processes related to Materials Management.

- Design and improve business processes and controls, with a strong focus on process optimization and best practices.

- Conduct Fit-Gap analysis to identify and bridge the gap between business requirements and SAP functionalities. SAP MM

Configuration :

- Proficient in configuring and customizing all core MM modules : Purchasing (PO, RFQ, Contracts) Inventory Management (Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Stock Transfers) Material Master Vendor Master Inventory Valuation

- Ensure seamless integration of MM with other SAP modules (SD, PP, FI/CO).

- Data Migration & Integration : Lead and oversee data migration activities, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer of data to the SAP ECC environment.

- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with other SAP modules and external systems.

- Client Management : Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and collaboration.

- Conduct workshops and presentations with clients to gather requirements, present solutions, and address concerns.

- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients after project implementation.

Technical Expertise :

- Strong understanding of SAP MM functionalities and best practices.

- Knowledge of core data structures and data flows within the SAP MM module.

Qualifications :

Essential :

- 15-18 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM implementation and support.

- Proven experience in leading and delivering full-cycle SAP MM implementation projects.

- Strong knowledge of Materials Management business processes.

- Proficient in configuring and customizing all core MM modules.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable :

- Experience with S/4HANA MM.

- Experience with industry-specific solutions.

SAP MM certifications.

- Experience working with global clients.
