Quality Control and Quality Assurance For Maharashtra

Key Responsibilities:

Material Inspections:

Inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.

Coordinate with suppliers for material quality certifications and testing.

Workmanship Monitoring:

Conduct regular inspections of on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Identify and rectify defects or non-conformities promptly.

Testing and Documentation:

Oversee quality tests such as concrete strength, soil compaction, etc., and maintain proper records.

Prepare and maintain QC documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and compliance certificates.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and project specifications.

Participate in audits and implement corrective actions as required.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.

Liaise with external laboratories for third-party quality and quantity testing.

Provide feedback and recommendations to improve quality and quantity management processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience: - minimum 10 years of experience in QC/QA roles within the construction industry.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in QC tools, techniques, and standards.

Familiarity with construction materials, testing methods, and equipment.

Knowledge of construction estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project).
