Engineering Manager - Quality Assurance (7-12 yrs)

Requirements :

- At least 2+ years of experience in a leadership or Tech Lead role within QA, and a minimum of 6+ years in testing.

- Proven track record in managing and developing QA processes for web or mobile applications.

- In-depth knowledge of both manual and automated testing methodologies, with expertise in testing APIs and UI-based applications.

- Proficient in using automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks.

- Strong experience with cloud-based CI/CD environments like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI for automated testing and continuous integration.

- Good understanding of async programming using Callbacks, Promises, and Async/Await, particularly in test automation.

- Familiarity with backend and frontend testing using tools like Jest, Cypress, or Mocha.

- Deep understanding of databases like MongoDB, Redis, or MySQL, specifically for database validation and

testing.

- Basic knowledge of event-driven systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ is a plus.

- Experience with cloud services such as AWS (EC2 S3 CloudFront) and testing cloud-native applications.

- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, and their importance in QA environments.

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of QA engineers.

- Define and implement QA best practices, processes, and methodologies across the entire software development lifecycle.

- Develop and maintain a robust test automation framework, including API, UI, and integration tests.

- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and mitigate risks proactively.

- Analyze test results, identify and troubleshoot issues, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Work closely with product managers and engineers to understand product requirements and translate them into effective test strategies.

- Stay abreast of the latest QA technologies, tools, and industry best practices. Advocate for quality within the organization and drive a culture of quality excellence.
