Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Cypress/Selenium (7-12 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Conduct comprehensive testing to ensure application compliance with quality standards.

- Design, develop, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts.

- Perform automation testing with tools like Cypress to streamline quality processes.

- Execute API testing using Postman to verify integrations and endpoints.

- Identify, document, and track bugs or issues using tools like Jira.

- Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and ensure the application meets user expectations.

- Conduct regression testing to validate resolved bugs and prevent reoccurrence.

- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Continuously improve QA methodologies and tools to optimize testing processes.

Some Key Qualifications :

- Experience with manual testing and bug-tracking tools.

- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Familiarity with Agile methodology and Scrum framework.

- Demonstrated passion for quality assurance and continuous process improvement.

- 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on automation testing.

- Proficiency in Cypress and Selenium for UI automation and Postman for API testing.

- Familiarity with issue-tracking tools like Jira.

- Experience with collaboration tools like Confluence.

- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical abilities.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus Points :

- Knowledge of poker (any variant).

- Familiarity with automation testing tools.
