Atlassian Solution Consultant

We are seeking highly skilled Atlassian experts for a technical consulting opportunity. The ideal candidates will have experience delivering solutions in enterprise environments, troubleshooting complex problems, and providing excellent consulting services. You will play a key role in driving the growth of our world-class Atlassian consulting practice, delivering high-quality solutions, and ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design and Implementation: Design, develop, and implement high-quality solutions for the Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.), including architectural system design for both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Customer Engagement: Facilitate customer discussions to gather key business and technical requirements and create implementation plans based on those needs.
• Expert Guidance: Provide guidance, feedback, and recommendations to customers based on established best practices.
• Rollout and Adoption Support: Assist with the roll-out, adoption, and scaling of solutions for customers, ensuring seamless integration and long-term success.
• Consultancy Delivery: Be part of the global consultancy delivery and support team, acting as the primary point of contact for customers to provide excellent service and support.
• Problem Solving: Work with customers to understand and resolve challenges they face in day-to-day usage of the Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.).
• Internal Tools and Processes: Advise on internal tools and processes as a senior member of the technical team.
• Proposal and SOW Development: Assist with proposal development and create detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) to outline project scopes and deliverables.
• Sales Support: Engage with potential customers during sales calls as a technical resource, offering guidance on Atlassian product solutions.
• Mentorship and Team Development: Mentor junior technical consultants, onboard new team members, and ensure that best practices and the knowledge base are up to date within the team.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.

• Experience:
• 4-5 years of experience as an Atlassian consultant or systems administrator, with a strong background in service design, delivery, and business analysis.
• Experience working in highly technical roles, ideally in software environments with Java/J2EE/JVM troubleshooting experience.
• Demonstrated history in customer engagement, with exceptional consulting and influencing skills.
• Proven track record in implementing Atlassian solutions, including installations, upgrades, migrations, workshops, integrations, and training.

• Certifications: Atlassian certification (or willingness to achieve certification) is highly desirable.

• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo) and server-side configuration.
• Experience coding in Java or Python, with a focus on personal or professional projects.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Groovy, Shell Scripting, Python, etc.) and Unix/Linux command line.
• Experience with SQL databases and an understanding of web application architecture.

• Additional Skills:
• Experience with Agile, ITIL, SAFe methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of AWS, Docker, and Ansible.
• Familiarity with basic network functions, web servers, protocols (IIS, NGINX, SSL, load balancers, LDAP), and tools (Tomcat, Apache).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
