Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives across our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification and have a proven track record in driving operational excellence within the life sciences analytics industry. Candidates with experience in related sectors such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or FMCG will also be considered.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Continuous Improvement: Lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Process Optimization: Analyze existing processes to identify areas for improvement, eliminate waste, and streamline operations to achieve cost reduction and quality enhancement.
• Training & Development: Develop and deliver training programs on Lean Six Sigma principles to build internal capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams in executing improvement projects, ensuring timely delivery of results aligned with organizational goals.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of operational excellence initiatives and drive data-driven decision-making.
• Change Management: Act as a change agent to instill a continuous improvement mindset across the organization, promoting best practices and ensuring effective communication throughout the change process.
• Collaboration: Work as a team alongside process owners and functional teams to drive initiatives forward. Demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and effectively collaborate with multiple teams.
• Financial Evaluation: Evaluate the financial impact and cost savings resulting from process improvements.

Qualification and requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Total Quality Management (TQM) certification from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Operational Excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement roles within the life sciences analytics industry or related sectors such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or FMCG.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams in the application of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the life sciences analytics industry.
• Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and their integration into operational excellence programs .
• Work experience in MNCs or reputed organizations will be an added advantage.
• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt from reputed institutes/companies like ASQ, ISI, Client, Genpact or similar or Certified Lean by LEI or AME or TQM Certification from ASQ; with minimum 5 years of experience in the role of Quality at various levels. MBB training or certification would be an added advantage.
