Senior Database Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Development of new projects/enhancements in Data warehouse (SQL server Datawarehouse).
• Implementation/enhancement of new Procs, functions, views, Triggers and jobs.
• Creation, scheduling and maintenance of nightly jobs using SQL Server Agent
• Monitoring the nightly loads.
• Development /enhancing of SSIS packages.
• Excellent command on SSIS - Deep knowledge of SSIS package - Visual Studio 2017
• Development /enhancing of SSRS reports.
• Optimizing/ performance tuning the SQL objects
• Excellent client communication skills
• Ability to coordinate independently with Onsite client counterparts
• Takes end-to-end ownership of deliverables
• Follows all required processes and status updates including Azure DevOps status and time-keep

Requirement:

• Minimum 7 years of experience
• Good knowledge and understanding of Data warehouse
• Good knowledge of SQL Server
• Stored procedures,
• functions
• Triggers
• Views
• SQL jobs
• Optimization/ performance tuning of procs/functions/views.
• Excellent Command on SSIS and SSRS
• Azure SQL concepts
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and GIT

Educational Qualifications:

Any bachelors or master’s degree in computer science or applications or others.
