Textile Designer

About us:

Solino Home, a vibrant home decor company committed to elevating homes' aesthetics, is in search of a Textile Designer to join our team.

The compensation package will be flexible and commensurate with your capabilities, expertise, and in-depth knowledge of the field.

Responsibilities:

• Create original textile designs, patterns, and prints for various products in home textiles.
• Plan Collections from concept to execution.
• Producing sketches, designs and samples for presentation to clients.
• Finalizing the fabric based on the designs with suitable and required count and construction.
• Utilize Penelope, Textronic software and other design tools to produce detailed and accurate design specifications.
• Collaborate with production teams to oversee the creation of textile samples and prototypes.
• Knowledge of weaving techniques.
• Stay informed about advancements in textile manufacturing and apply innovative approaches to design projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in textile design or a related role.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and CAD software.
• Strong understanding of textile production processes, materials, and techniques.
• Excellent colour sense and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
