Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Lead for our US Solar Design Engineer team. The ideal candidate will lead design activities, manage the team’s workflow, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solar project designs tailored to US standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of solar design engineers, QC and QA engineers.
• Review and approve detailed PV system designs, layouts, and drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with US codes and standards, including AHJ, NEC and UL.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams for project requirements.
• Conduct training and mentoring sessions for team members.
• Monitor project timelines, ensuring high-quality deliverables are met on schedule.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the design phase.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in solar design, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Aurora, Helioscope, PVsyst
• Strong knowledge of US solar design standards and permitting processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
