Job Description TAC Telecom Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Telecom Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in telecommunications technologies. And having hands-on experience with communication networks and equipment including, telecommunication products, antennas, wireless equipment etc.

• Proven experience in wireless and wired communications.
• Working knowledge on Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) radio solutions.
• Hands on SSH, Putty, CLI and debug logs.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor network performance and proactively address any issues or bottlenecks. Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure network stability and efficiency.
• Cisco routers 2900 / 3600 / 3800 /7200 series, Cisco switches C2950 / C2960 / C3560 / C3750 / C6500.
• Strong knowledge- OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, BGP, DHCP, VLANS, Trunking, VTP, STP, RSTP, PVST, MSTP, Ether Channels, NAT, ACL, EIGRP, Cisco Switches, Sub netting & Split-horizon, Variance, Route filtering.
• Network sniffing tools such as Wireshark & Cabling experience (Cat 5e, Cat 6, etc.).
• Working knowledge on radio systems and networks, mobile phones or providing internet access
• Worked on essential communications systems, such as public safety digital microwave, radio, Wide Area Networks (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN), copper, and fiber-optic network
• Knowledge in telecommunication network, Ethernet/IP, Radio Wireless (IEEE 802.11).
• Strong Communication Skills, i.e. Good written and verbal communication skills and should have worked with international customers before on Voice and ticket support.
• Service oriented approach and attitude.
• Tracking and documenting network issues and compiling incident reports.

Other Requirement:

• Rotational Shifts with Rotational week offs.
• Work from Office.
• Full Time 1 Year contract Job. Subject to renewal.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering or a related field. Advanced degrees and certifications in relevant areas are a plus.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Telecom Engineer or in a similar role within the telecommunications industry.
• Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, Compta are added advantage.
