Software Mathematics - Senior Software Developer - Node.js/MongoDB (5-8 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer with expertise in Node.js, NoSQL, SQL, and React to design and implement scalable, robust, and secure solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of designing & developing large systems & software solutions with best practices, and will be responsible to lead the architectural design and technology strategy for various software applications and platforms.

The person will get opportunity to work with international customers in Europe, Americas & Middle-East. Should have valid passport and comfortable to travel onsite in order to fulfil project requirement

Key Responsibilities :

1. Architectural Design and Development :

- Experience of design patterns and principles in writing structured, reusable and maintainable code by applying classical and modern design patterns to the language.

- Participate in and support the architectural design decisions for solutions that meet business requirements, focusing on scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive architectural blueprint for healthcare applications using Node.js, NoSQL, SQL, and React.

- Ensure the technical design aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

- Experience around HIPAA and other healthcare regulations will be preferred.

2. Technology Strategy :

- Understand and drive the technology roadmap for solutions, incorporating best practices and emerging technologies.

- Perform POCs, evaluate and recommend technology stacks and tools to support business needs and improve development efficiency and quality.

3. Leadership and Collaboration :

- Lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship to ensure successful implementation of architectural vision.

- Lead discussion with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality solutions.

4. Data Management and Integration :

- Design and implement data models for both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases to support healthcare applications.

- Architect solutions for data integration and interoperability with external systems, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and availability.

5. Security and Compliance :

- Experience in implementing security best practices and ensure all solutions comply with regulations, including data privacy and protection.

- Understand and perform security assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities.

6. Performance Optimization :

- Optimize application performance and scalability through effective design and code reviews.

- Implement caching, indexing, and other performance enhancement techniques.

7. Documentation and Communication :

- Create detailed architectural documentation, including technical diagrams and design specifications.

- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :

- At least 2 to 3 years in working on architecture level

- Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions using Node.js, NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra), SQL (e.g., MySQL,PostgreSQL), and React.

- Experience in the healthcare domain, with a strong understanding of healthcare standards, regulations, and compliance will be preferred

Technical Skills :

- Deep expertise in backend development using Node.js and frontend development using React.

- Strong knowledge of both relational and non-relational database design and optimization.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture.

- Proficiency in integrating third-party APIs and services, especially within healthcare contexts.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes) will be an advantage.

Soft Skills : Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
