Mandate Technical Skills :

- Angular 8/9, NodeJS, SQL, NoSQL, Core Java, Golang

Educational Background :

- Graduate/ Postgraduate in Engineering

Related Knowledge :

- Knowledge of Java and Node.js and Angular/React

- Knowledge of Golang is preferable.

- Hands on in PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Apache Tomcat and Servlets, InfluxDB, OOP, Docker and Linux, Postman, JMeter, etc.

- Basic knowledge of security aspects of servers and web applications like OSS, XSS, etc.

- Experience in UML, XML, JSON, etc.

- Very good knowledge in Algorithms and Data Structures, Maps, Binary Trees, etc.

- Advanced knowledge of SQL and SQL Query Optimisations

Relevant Experience :

- Proven experience of managing a team of at least 5 developers and cross operating with Testing and Product Teams to manage technology releases.

- Hands-on coding experience in Java and Servlets of at least 3 years

- Advanced expertise in SQL of writing complex queries and debugging and optimizing query complexities.

- Experience in server scalability and experience in removing performance bottlenecks with a knack and sense for performance.

- Plus points for having managed and worked in an information security product

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Leading the server team and converting feature requirements into practical codes and tech deliveries

- Own the design of the newly shipped features and get the best code into place.

- Be responsible for the design patterns and algorithms that are being introduced into the product.

- Have a particularly good understanding of business and information security.

- Manage and motivate Team members by mentoring them with correct knowledge, understanding their design viewpoints, review codes, manage releases.

- Track and manage bugs and enhancements and be accountable for their timely planned releases.

- Liaise with the Product Support Team and Sales Engineering Team to best understand requirements and provide realistic timelines for releases.

- Manage the software development lifecycle correctly through proper planning and execution.

- Design and Manage the monthly sprint system to deliver timely and quality releases.

- Be responsible for the quality of the releases and make respective changes required to enhance them over the subsequent cycles.

- Manage Integration phases of the release with other Team leaders to get an integrated release shipped.

- Escalations roll up to this position incase of emergencies. Responsible for resolving them in the fastest possible time.

- Deliver high-quality products with an emphasis on scale, performance, unit testing, e2e.

- Work in an Agile environment.

- Monitor team performance and report on metrics.

- Communicate with teams about their performance.

- Set clear team goals and KPIs about the team members
