SQL Database Administrator AWS Proficient
Requirements
Must have:
Hands-on experience in SQL Server Migrations/Upgrades from 2005-2019
SQL Server troubleshooting experience
Performance, Tuning and Optimization using native SQL Server monitoring and tools such as SolarWinds and Redgate
Proficient creating and maintaining backup strategies to assure DB database data security
Extensive Experience in scripting for monitoring and automation
Windows server management experience.
Extensive SQL Server architecture (system databases, physical architecture, logical components)
Installing and configuring Database Management Software
Experience with SSRS, SSIS, SSAS
High Availability experience (log shipping, mirroring, clustering, Always-On)
Extensive Analysis and optimization of SQL queries
Expertise on Detection and troubleshooting on Global SQL Environments
Extensive Programming (SQL, transact-sql).
Support SQL Server databases on RDS and EC2 instances (AWS/Cloud)

Responsibilities
Perform Database Administration activities on SQL Server databases
Install, patch, configure and setup binaries for SQL Server and Always on.
Define and implement backup strategies to assure DR and DB recoverability.
