Softility - AWS Architect - Cloud Infrastructure (12-15 yrs)

Job Description :

As an AWS Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions on the AWS platform.

You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement cloud architectures aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.

- Assess and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.

- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations (e., CIS, PCI, ISO).

- Conduct regular security assessments and audits.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

- Implement strategies to improve application performance and scalability.

- Collaborate with development teams to design and deploy cloud-native applications.

- Work with operations teams to ensure smooth system operations.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 10+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on cloud computing.

- 5+ years of experience with AWS, including core services like EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and Lambda.

- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and design patterns.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

- Experience with security best practices and compliance standards (CIS, PCI, ISO).

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with serverless computing and containerization (e., AWS Lambda, Kubernetes).

- Knowledge of data engineering and big data technologies (e., AWS Glue, AWS EMR).

- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).

- Certifications in AWS (e., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
