Network And System Support Engineer

Role & responsibilities

AWS infrastructure, services, network and security planning and administration

• Hands-on experience implementing Cloud Solutions using various AWS Services including EC2, VPC, S3, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, CloudFront, Route 53, etc.
  
• Hands-on experience on Architecting and securing the Infrastructure on AWS using IAM, CloudWatch, Security Groups, Certificate Manager, etc.
  
• Cost monitoring and control mechanisms
  
• Source code management - GitHub account administration
  
• Web Server Administration with Apache, IIS, Tomcat
  
• VPN server administration on Windows & Linux platforms
  
• Auditing and controlling Microsoft Volume Licensing and Partner Center
  
• Implement and strengthen the IT policy
  
• Manage Hardware and Software inventory, licenses
  
• Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers
  
• Upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives
  
• Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems
  
• Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data
  
• Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures
  
• Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration
  
• Install, configure and support network equipment including firewalls, routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
