Technical Engineer - Kitchen & Wardrobe

Technical Engineer for Kitchen & Wardrobe business works in close cooperation with Buyer, Supply Planner, Interior designer and with other stakeholders such as vendors to fulfill customer needs.

Technical engineer takes leadership to ensure that technical documentation and drawings of all products & accessories are up to date and BoQs are accurate before production is initiated.

The major tasks of technical engineer include:

• Understand designs and related requirements from designers.
• Prepare documentation and drawings as per the designs.
• Review the final BoQs and ensure highest level of accuracy.
• Communicate design requirements to vendors through drawings and BoQ.
• Coordinate with QC team to ensure products are manufactured as per drawings.
• Conduct quality inspections as per need.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs):

Successful manufacturing or products in line with the designs Products are manufactured as per expected quality.

Qualifications: Mechanical Engineering graduate

Your knowledge, skills and experience include:

• 5 - 8 years of experience in modular furniture industry
• Well versed with Solid Works and AutoCAD
• Hands on knowledge of production methods & techniques
• Technical knowledge of materials, hardware & accessories
• Capability to generate production drawings.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of other languages will be an added advantage.
