Job Description
- Work Experience: 1-5 Years.
- Qualifications: B.E. / B.Tech . or Diploma in Civil Engineering for AQS/QS Civil.
- Knowledge of SMM7/NRM2/CESMM4/POMI/ ASMM will be an advantage.
- Organized and detailed oriented.
- Field experience a plus.
- Responsible for copying drawings for each package to project folder on Cost X data Server folder prior to commencing measurement
- Responsible for ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in any given task.
- Responsible for ensuring that all drawings, details and specification have been reviewed when taking off any BQ package.
- Ensure quantities are dynamically linked to drawings wherever possible.
- Review specification and overmark clauses to confirm that all measurable items have been included in the BQ.
- Confirm that all drawings have been calibrated against a stated dimension where pdf drawings have been used to measure the works.
- Ensure TQ responses are incorporated into the BQ.
- Check calculations in working sheets where required
- Responsible for delivery of accurate complete and robust BQ s to the required standards first time and on time to the PLQS
- Offer guidance and support to AQS/Trainee team members, promoting a positive and can-do attitude that will inspire those under your supervision

About the opportunity
- Type: Engineering/ Construction/ Cost Management
- International projects pre-contract work experience.
- Quantity Take-off and Preparation of detailed Bill of Quantities as per International standards.
- Familiar with measurement codes like SMM7, NRM1/2, CESMM4, POMI.
- Proficiency in working with AutoCAD, MS Excel and related software.
- Prior working experience on Cost X, Revit Navisworks would be added advantage.
- Good technical writing and communication skills.
