Power Platform Solution Architect (Microsoft Platform)

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Power Platform Solution Architect to lead and design enterprise-level solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the architecture, design, and implementation of applications using PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, and other Microsoft tools in the Power Platform ecosystem. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the solution meets business needs, adheres to best practices, and is scalable, secure, and maintainable.

Responsibilities:

1. Solution Architecture: Design, implement, and lead the development of Power Platform solutions based on business requirements and organizational goals.
2. Integration: Develop integration strategies with third-party systems, databases, and existing enterprise solutions (e.g., Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Azure, SQL).
3. Customization: Customize PowerApps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI reports based on user needs and business requirements.
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to understand requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful delivery.
5. Security & Governance: Implement best practices for security, governance, and data privacy for all Power Platform solutions.
6. Documentation: Provide clear documentation of architecture, solution design, and workflows.
7. Support & Maintenance: Ensure post-deployment support and troubleshooting, including identifying issues and providing solutions.
8. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers in the design and delivery of Power Platform solutions.
9. Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and business expectations.

Required Skills:

1. Power Platform Expertise: In-depth experience with PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
2. Microsoft Dynamics 365: Knowledge of integrating Power Platform with Dynamics 365.
3. Cloud Solutions: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure Active Directory.
4. API & Integration: Proficient in API integrations, RESTful services, and connectors.
5. Low-Code Development: Experience with low-code/no-code development platforms and Power Platform best practices.
6. Data Modeling & Reporting: Strong understanding of data modeling, analytics, and Power BI dashboards.
7. Security & Compliance: Knowledge of security best practices, data protection, and compliance standards.
8. Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
9. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and address complex technical challenges.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

1. Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert or similar certifications.
2. Experience with AI and Automation: Exposure to using AI Builder, robotic process automation (RPA), and intelligent document processing.
3. Project Management Tools: Familiarity with tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, or DevOps for managing solution delivery.
4. SQL & Database Knowledge: Experience with databases such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, and other cloud-based data solutions.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering enterprise-level Power Platform solutions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

4. Integration: Integrating the Power Platform with external systems like Dynamics 365, SQL databases, and Azure.
5. Security & Governance: Ensuring compliance with security and privacy standards in the solutions.
6. Team Collaboration: Working closely with development teams to ensure solution delivery aligns with the design.
7. Deployment & Maintenance: Overseeing deployment processes and ensuring post-deployment support.
8. Troubleshooting & Optimization: Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and solution issues.
