Subject Matter Expert

We are seeking a creative Mathematician to join our dynamic team as SME to ideate interactive content and transform static textbooks into captivating, immersive learning experience for students of grades 6-12.

This role will empower you to:

• Research and develop gamified content: Create out of the box, fun to learn interactive experience on concepts of Geometry (including Coordinate Geo), Algebra, Calculus (graphs), Trigonometry & Arithmetic.
• Foster deeper understanding: Develop learning materials that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills by scaffolding progressive questions up to Olympiad level.
• Inspire a love of math: Create engaging content that makes Mathematics accessible and enjoyable for students by blending mix of interactive content and numerical.
• Visualize complex concepts: Use animations, videos, and 3D models to simplify difficult mathematical ideas.

Location: Extramarks Head Office, Noida (On-site), Sector -136

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with designers and developers to create engaging learning experiences for math, including:
• Interactive elements like simulations, quizzes, and games to enhance learning.
• 3D models of mathematical objects and visualizations.
• Animated GIFs and videos explaining mathematical concepts, processes, and applications.
• Ensure mathematical accuracy and adherence to relevant curriculum standards in all content creation.
• Break down complex mathematical concepts into easy-to-understand language for Grades 4-12 students.
• Provide insightful feedback and suggestions for improving the overall effectiveness and interactivity of the learning materials.
• Stay up to date on the latest trends and advancements in educational technology and interactive learning methods.

Qualifications:

• BS (4-Year) Mathematics & Computing or M.Sc (with PhD preferred) in Mathematics from a reputed university (IIT, NIT, GFTI or equivalent).
• 2+ years of experience in developing engaging and effective educational content for K12 Math.
• Strong understanding of the Math curriculum for Grades 6-12.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in scriptwriting, storyboarding, and ideation of interactive learning experiences.
• Proficient in using educational technology tools and MS Office.
