Senior Product Designer

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic team.

We are looking for someone who has a deep drive to understand complex problems, who finds creative ways to learn the users needs and experiences, who finds creative and elegant solutions to those problems. We need someone who is organized, proactive, and extremely good in communication.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will define and craft the user experience. You ll be collaborating with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive, user-centered designs.

• Design Projects: Responsible for the design process from concept to execution, ensuring a seamless and cohesive user experience across multiple touchpoints.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, engineers, marketing, and other stakeholders to understand product goals and translate them into effective design solutions.
• User-Centered Design: Conduct user research, testing, and feedback sessions to inform design decisions and ensure a focus on the end user.
• Prototyping: Create interactive prototypes to explore design solutions and communicate ideas to stakeholders.
• Design Systems: Contribute to and help maintain our design systems to ensure consistency across products.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to associate product designers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
• Stay Updated on Trends: Keep up with industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance our design processes.

• Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• AI Advancements: Ability to keep up with AI advancements in terms of new GenAI products and services
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful design projects across web and mobile applications.
• Skills: Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar. Proficiency in prototyping tools like InVision, Framer, or similar is a plus.
• User Research: Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering user insights to inform design decisions.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about both short-term and long-term design decisions.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for aesthetics and detail, ensuring pixel-perfect design execution.
• Education: Bachelor s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
• Experience with motion design and animation.
• Basic understanding of User Research methodologies
• Design Degree (Visual communication, Graphic Design, Interaction Design or Human-Computer Interaction or Anthropology) would be a plus
• Participate in the enrichment of the design community within and outside of smartSense

• Overall 6+ years of relevant experience working as a Product Designer with strong visual design skills with a keen eye for detailing
