Head Projects

Job overview: Head of Projects will ensure that all the projects are executed on time in a cost-effective and technically efficient manner. Project execution here refers to installing our IOT based water meters to prospective customers i.e., high-rise buildings and apartments.

Key responsibilities:

• Project planning: Plan and develop project schedules. Ensure the accurate availability of men and materials at the site for the installation
• Manage the supply chain for materials required for execution including vendor development, quality control and inventory management
• Hand over projects to customers with zero defects and ensure zero defects in the initial operating months
• Strategize and implement ways to minimize the cash burn for the new order execution through minimum site turnaround and optimizing resources

Profile:

• 12-15 years of work experience in Project execution with a minimum of 7-8 years in a managerial role in the building / construction industry. Should have an engineering background (electrical/ mechanical)
• Should have installed plumbing and electrical products in high rise buildings
• Have successfully completed multiple projects across cities at a same time
• A good exposure of handling teams spread across cities
• Well versed with industry compliance and HSE standards

Skillset required:

• Technical expertise A good command of all technical aspects of MEP services (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing). Expertise in Project Management tools
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Problem and conflict resolution skills, ability to prioritize work tasks
• Language proficiency (verbal & non -verbal) English and local languages (preferred)
• Open to travel across south & west India
