Job Description

We are looking for an automation test engineer to define test strategy, develop test automation, perform manual and automated testing, and ensure the overall quality of a SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will bring strong development skills, a passion for testing, and experience with SaaS applications to deliver a seamless and high-quality user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for SaaS application, focusing on functional, regression, and performance testing.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end testing coverage.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure requirements are met and high-quality software is delivered on time.
Design and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for new features, product releases, and bug fixes.
Conduct both manual and automated testing to identify defects early in the development cycle.
Perform continuous integration testing and ensure code quality.
Analyze test results, track defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Contribute to improving test processes and methodologies to ensure the highest levels of software quality.
Mentor junior testers and assist in training other team members on best practices for test automation and quality assurance.

Skill Requirements:

5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation, ideally with SaaS platforms or cloud-based applications.
Solid experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium or similar tools.
Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) and understanding of microservices architectures.
Hands-on experience with continuous integration tools and version control systems.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Familiar with cloud platforms (Azure, others) and SaaS-based product architectures.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues effectively.
Must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate test results, issues, and improvements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering quality results with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
