Perform manual testing of new features/pull requests, and develop automated test scripts to validate functionality, security, and performance of data protection applications follow-up with engineers to move approvals ahead
Work closely with backend/frontend engineering partners to learn about new features, ask questions during design phase to fully understand those features, and prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and security specifications
Demonstrate responsibility for release readiness - identify, document, and track defects, inconsistencies, and security flaws using issue-tracking tools. Validate product performance, scalability, and resilience, particularly in scenarios involving large-scale data protection. Work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

Openly communicate with your peers and managers, and partner across UX, engineering, product to deliver best-in-class features for a growing product

Required skills and experience
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
3-5 years of professional experience in QA testing, with your most recent job in this area specifically
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including functional, security and performance testing.
Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
Experience with security testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, etc.) and methodologies.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
