Electrical Bim Modeler/Engineer

We SmartCADD Pty Ltd are looking for a medium level experienced BIM Modeller/Engineer-Electrical.

Experience: 1 to 3 years

Qualification: BE/B. tech/Diploma

Location: Remote & office - Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Knowledge:

Candidate should have expertise in:

Latest versions of Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam/PDF editor,

BIM/CAD Standard, Ravitzo, BIMTrack, Dynamo

Knowledge of basic Revit plug-ins, Ravitzo, BIM 360 are preferred but not essential

2D Drawings with appropriate parameters

Revit - creating parametric families

Revit - shared parameters / filters / View setup

Basic MS Office knowledge

Skills:

Develop BIM models for Electrical services from the design stage to the as-built stage and coordinating between all other services.

Preparation of Electrical BIM Models with various level of detailing.

Strong knowledge of electrical design and detailed drawings

Preparing all kinds of Electrical 2D and 3D drawings from the Revit model

Clash Detection and coordination

Create shop drawing (IFC, As Built and to use on-site with all respective information) of Electrical Services up to LOD 500.

Prepare As-Built drawings & Package submission for final approval.

Ability:

Ability to create Revit work sets and understanding of Revit work-sharing process

Ability to understand of markups and accordingly update Revit model and drawings,

Understanding of installation and construction process for electrical elements/items, e.g. cable trays, lighting installation, Inground services, Busduct, HV to LV system, supports/hangers etc,

Fluency in the 2D and 3D visualisation,

Understanding of 3D coordination with other trades.

Able to work under pressure and respect deadlines,

Ability to work with team members,

Able to communicate in English with clients.
